Chinese 110m Hurdler Liu Xiang Wins Gold at Asiad

Olympic champion and world record holder Liu Xiang of China won the men's 110m hurdles title at the 15th Asian Games on Tuesday.

Liu clocked a winning time of 13.15 seconds for the gold.

His temmate Shi Dongpeng took the silver in 13.28, a personal best. Japan's Masato Naito had the bronze in 13. 60.

In women's tennis, China's Zheng Jie will fight for the singles title with fourth seed Sania Mirza from India.

Kuo Cheng Wei of Chinese Taipei won the title in men's individual archery, beating Indonesia's Rahmat Sulistyawan in the final.

South Korea's Im Dong Hyun also captured a title in men's individual archery.

Singapore's Soh Khyan Tat Maximilian won a gold medal in the men's laser of the sailing competition.

Thai boxer Manus Boonjumnong claimed the light welter 64kg title, beating Shin Myung Hoon from South Korea 22-11 on points in the four-round final.

Meanwhile, Boxer Bahodirjon Sultonov from Uzbekistan won the feather 57kg title at the 15th Asian Games in Doha on Tuesday, beating Enkhzorig Zorigtbaatar from Mongolia in the final.
