Pakistani Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao was unhurt in a bombing at a public meeting in northwestern Pakistani town of Charsadda on Saturday, the Geo News channel quoted official source as saying.
A powerful bomb exploded at sunset as soon as the public meeting attended by Sherpao was announced over, said the report.
Geo quoted a senior provincial police officer as saying that some 15 people were killed in the blast and several others including policemen injured.
Earlier reports said that Sherpao and his son Sikandar Sherpao were injured.
Some police officials said it was a suicide attack.
