Eleven people were killed and seven others rescued after a bus plunged into a reservoir in east China's Zhejiang Province on Friday, local police said.
The accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. when the bus hit a truck head-on and went over partition blocks before falling more than 10 meters into the Pengxi reservoir, according to a police officer.
The bus has been salvaged from the reservoir, while the bodies have been retrieved and sent to a funeral parlor.
More than 300 local people took part in the rescue operation after the accident occurred.
There was no accurate number of the passengers on the bus at the moment, although a local official said earlier Friday there were more than 20 on board.
