The prime ministers of South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have reached three agreements on inter-Korean cooperation, South Korean Unification Ministry Spokesman Kim Nam-sik said Friday.
The prime ministerial talks will end soon, he added.
According to the spokesman, South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and his DPRK counterpart Kim Yong-il agreed to launch cross-border railway cargo service in December.
The two sides also agreed to begin to work for the establishment of a joint fishing area in the area near the disputed sea border in the Yellow Sea in 2008, he added.
The DPRK prime minister will return to Pyongyang in the afternoon after attending a luncheon host by South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun, the spokesman said.
