Former Bond girl Sophie Marceau was spotted at the Shanghai Pudong Airport as she arrived in the Chinese city on Tuesday.

Without a large retinue, the French actress arrived in Shanghai accompanied by only two retainers. Such low-key arrival didn't generate fan fever at the airport.

A local newspaper says Marceau is in Shanghai attending an event by Chaumet, a swanky jeweler from her home country.

The actress last appeared in the city in 2001, attending that year's Shanghai International Film Festival.
